How long we keep information
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
When determining the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the purposes for which we process it, and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means.
In general:
Account information (such as your name, contact details, and login credentials) is retained for as long as your account remains active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your data within 12 months, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Transactional records (such as invoices, payment records, and correspondence related to purchases) are retained for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, in line with HMRC requirements.
Marketing data (such as email preferences and communication history) will be retained for up to two years from your last interaction with us, unless you withdraw consent earlier.
Technical data (such as logs and cookies) are retained in accordance with our Cookie Policy, typically for no longer than 13 months, unless otherwise required for security or troubleshooting purposes.
After the relevant retention period expires, your data will be securely deleted or anonymised so it can no longer be associated with you.
